Fresh Pick
The Ink Collection
This collection is an ode to the infinite cycle of sowing, growing and harvesting. Resulting in a fresh pick that can be brought home. Bright and saturated colours (inspired by a vintage Persil carton I saw at a yard sale once) were used to create some contrasting colourways.
The collection was drawn by hand and inked using a fineliner. The main patterns were not assembled from separate motifs, but drawn at once with the help of a grid in my sketchbook. These ink outlines really pull the collection together, they are added to each pattern in the same key colour.
All repeats are in vector and designed in no more than five colours.
